Our works
A. Key Health Issues
Maternal & Newborn Mortality
High rates of home births without skilled attendants; postpartum hemorrhage and neonatal sepsis are leading causes of death.
Child Malnutrition
Chronic malnutrition (stunting) affects nearly one-third of children in rural areas, impacting lifelong development.
Low Vaccination Coverage
Geographic isolation and lack of cold chain infrastructure leave many children unvaccinated against preventable diseases.
Water & Sanitation
Over 50% of rural communities lack improved water sources; open defecation fuels diarrheal diseases.
Sepsis
A silent killer often undiagnosed at the primary care level due to lack of point-of-care diagnostics.
Non-Communicable Diseases
Hypertension and diabetes are underdiagnosed and poorly managed in rural settings.
B. Projects

- ✦ Aug 2022: Official opening of Noon facility
- ✦ Maternity & children's welfare fully operational
- ✦ Equipment: hematology analyzer, portable ultrasound, sterilization
💧 WASH
Clean water is medicine. Sustainable water infrastructure + hygiene education to reduce waterborne diseases.
- ✦ Solar-powered borehole completed
- ✦ CHW training on hygiene & water safety
- ✦ Latrine construction campaigns near health center
🔬 Research
Scaling up health research for rural communities, generating evidence on low-resource interventions.
- ✦ Scale-up plan to reach 20 facilities
- ✦ Staff trained in data collection & research ethics
- ✦ Pilot study on barriers to maternal care
💉 Vaccination
Closing the immunization gap via cold chain integrity and mobile outreach.
- ✦ First drive: measles, polio, pentavalent
- ✦ CHW training on vaccine hesitancy

⚠️ Sepsis Care
Rapid diagnosis, community awareness, quality improvement for sepsis — a silent killer.
- ✦ Research on point-of-care diagnosis (lactate/CRP)
- ✦ Screening protocols & antibiotic access
- ✦ Village talks on recognizing infection signs
🥕 Nutrition
Addressing acute malnutrition & chronic stunting through supplementation, counseling, and kitchen gardens.
- ✦ Baseline nutrition screening (children under 5)
- ✦ Growth monitoring integrated into maternal-child visits
- ✦ Pilot kitchen garden project launched
🩺 Point-of-Care Diagnostics
Equipping rural health workers with rapid tests for malaria, anemia, diabetes, sepsis markers, and pregnancy complications.
- ✦ Portable glucometers, malaria RDTs, urine dipsticks
- ✦ Clinical staff training on POC protocols
- ✦ Data collection to measure treatment impact
